2019, Sculpture Village Selde
The sculptures are made of concrete and various local raw materials such as sand, piers and stone by the artist Regitze Engelsborg Karlsen in 2019.
The work was created for Sculpture Village Selde. It is located in the middle of a lawn in Selde and attracts attention by looking like alien objects from another world. The materials were collected in the countryside around Selde.
The figures are part of Selde's geological history. In the meeting with citizens and visitors, the work becomes a story about our relationship to time and place.
