Art. Nature. Ritual. is a community exhibition that unfolds in natural surroundings at Alléhuset in the forest in Rude. The exhibition was created in an exchange between the specific place, the forest, and five artists, all of whom are inspired in their own way by nature and ritual. The participating artists are Cecilia Westerberg, Mette Borup Kristensen, Morten Plesner, Nana Francisca Schottländer and Regitze Engelsborg Karlsen, who since the beginning of May have met in the forest and performed rituals guided and inspired by Carina Lyall's natural philosophy.
The artists have used both existing materials such as dead wood and earth, as well as materials they have introduced themselves, including clay, textile and plaster, which they have integrated into the natural surroundings. Central to the exhibition is the process, the community and the connectedness – between the artists and between man and the surrounding nature.
